When we accept our part in creating the events in our lives - good, bad and indifferent - we receive a terrific boost to our personal power.
How would it feel to believe you have the ability to change unwanted things, create desired outcomes and live the Life of your dreams? It would feel very good indeed - in fact, it does feel good, because that is how it is!
Awareness is a wonderful skill. It opens doors to worlds heretofore unknown. To be the watcher of the words we utter, is to have the opportunity to speak the Truth at all times. To be the minder of the tumbling thoughts - crafting them, nurturing them in the direction of positivity, and noticing... everything - is to lovingly parent oneself.
When we bring the light of awareness into Life, it totally transforms the experience. Knee jerk reactions become considered actions. Angry responses become intelligent ones. Slowly, and not so slowly, Life becomes expansive and everything begins to make sense.
While we feel so lost and small, at the mercy of others who appear to be in control, we feel disconnected, fearful and unwell. Until we realise it is US that drives the machinery of our lives - not outside influences - we cannot make sense of the things that happen, apparently so randomly.
If we look to ourselves and to the gifts that we have - no matter what they are - the answers will come. Being ourselves, being true to who we really are, is vital for our wellbeing. While we go against our true nature, we are bound to suffer.
What does it mean to know your Truth? Often we think we are living truthfully, but when the outer layers are stripped away, the reality of the Life we are living emerges. How often do we go against our inner promptings and feel bad - can we even hear these subtles messages when they come? How often do we regret something we have said or done, and lived on with guilt or sadness, never to be free of it Living with regret, guilt, resentment or any kind of negativity, is not living truthfully. When we find our own Truth, we follow our inner promptings when they call, we forgive our errors and we forgive others theirs. We do not need to argue or judge, or convince anyone of anything, because we know ourselves.
Personal Truth is all we need.
