The desire to be rid and free of anything traditionally deemed undesirable (anger, jealousy, fear etc) keeps us occupied and distracted in a pointless lifelong struggle against these things, when all the time the 'enlightenment aha!' is to know that we ARE all of those things (we are MEANT to be them), BUT, and AND, we are also the Source that we are, both at the same time. (Thank you Tim Freke for your humorous and well marked signposts!). As he says, we are Great Souls and Arseholes at the same time! We can be in our human busy-ness, while simultaneously the CONSCIOUSNESS that we are - the unlimited Oneness - oversees and calms our entire life experience. In other words, it's always OK, because whatever seems to be happening, it's just our individual human perspective on this Great Unknowable as it continues to know itself in all the ways it possibly can THROUGH us and our rising Consciousness.
Looking at the people and events in this world through these eyes, we can see that each set of human eyes has a different limited view of the world, but that the Oneness can see ALL things, because all eyes put together perceive everything in all ways.
As we come to remember our root as being the ONE, we can see ourselves as glorious and beautiful leaves on this great tree, and from our particular place - whether at the top where we can see for miles, or tucked away underneath covered in the shadows of others - we still get to add to the Oneness and give our individual life experience to it - something so very special and unique that no one else can ever hope to match it. While we want all things to be the same, all peoples to think the same, all experiences to be good and neat and tidy, we are fighting against our desire (as Source) to know ALL. A neat and tidy, sanitised and compartmentalised Universe is not the deal.
So when Life hits us hard, over and over, and we are still here to take the hit, it is to know that we, and our individual life experience, grew out of a desire to know of these things and to see them through OUR own, precious and eternal set of eyes. We are important.
